I had a similar experience... I met him one year, at an event (The Tampa Show) and he was a bit full on etc, but on the following year, he gets out the bus, and says 'Hi Bill' (He actually Rembered my name) and asks if I went to the specific restaurant in London, that he had mentioned to me, the year before !
