Why SOPA is not good for selling porn ?

If thousands of illegal porn sites are closed for piracy content, is not better for the webmaster that promote legal porn ? Probably i'm missing something

it requires little proof. competitors can easily shut down sites, etc.

it is, most people opposed to it profit one way or another from piracy, could be a website selling traffic or banner space, or just someone wanting to downloading their favorite mp3

As well most people opposed to it also are frequent downloaders of pirated movies and tv shows too I bet.

Think about all the people who think it's okay to download tv/movies/games - I bet you it's the majority of the population, and coincidentally it's the majority of the population that opposes SOPA.

I am worried about false claims and people ruining other people's websites though.

This seems to be the major legitimate complaint - there doesn't appear to be a whole lot laid out as far as what kind of oversight there will be to prevent legitimate sites from being shut down by unfounded accusations.

I think here on gfy the most part of the adult webmasters promote sponsors using legal content, so why i see you are worried for SOPA ? Why someone shut down your sites if you haven't piracy content on your sites ?

just like all the laws they pass in america today. they sound good in theory but are really shitty as a long term solution for the majority.

Once the legal mechanism is in place it's just a matter of time before they broaden their definitions of what to block. You can bet that porn is high on their wishlist.
You can't give these bastards an inch.

They can already do that. SOPA is not need to "censor" the internet.

You guys need to come up with better excuses and/or get up to speed on things.
