    Google giveth, google taketh away

    Had a site number 1 for term for a year, never updated it. Wasnt making any money on it so i updated it with a better theme and new content...google dropped me to #5, from 1200 uv to 300 uv a day google why hath thou forsaken me

                                      How long has it been since you changed the content?

                                      I've had similar situations where I've changed content and Google drops me for 7-21 days and then I'm back up again.

                                      Maybe just give it some time and you'll be back up to #1.

                                                      I started adding content last week, its all revelant, i started adding only videos i host, and i improving my titles on category and post pages. I didnt change any old content or links. Hope it comes back.

                                                                      i assume that you havent add links in over a year? and when you changed the theme and content you triggered the google bot.... start adding some links slowly and you will get back..
