                This one and many similar situations have gave a lesson to me, that never lend someone money. thats it.

                Why the fuck people don't pay back? Especially when they can pay.

I don't think that's the point. What you're suggesting is not the spirit in which money is usually loaned. If someone asked me to LOAN them money for a week, I think it's natural to assume that in a week, you'll get your money back. If someone asked me to GIVE them money, then yeah, I wouldn't expect it back.

                                                                        Perhaps if you can't AFFORD to live without that money just in CASE you don't get it back by a specific date you shouldn't loan it out, but helping someone out with a loan shouldn't be taken as outright charity. People seem to forget that it's the person LOANING the money that's doing the favour...not the person paying it back on time.

                                                                        edit-with a select few people, if they asked to borrow a certain amount of money, I might even just give them the money and say don't worry about paying it back, make me some galleries when you have some time or something. But with others, a loan is a loan I'd expect to be paid back on time.

                                                                                                                                I messaged him a few times after that, no reply.
                                                                                                                                Then I asked him on a board when he was planning to reply to my messages.
                                                                                                                                Yep, turned it around on me as well....said that we'd agreed that it wasn't a loan, that I was a scamming piece of shit, and to fuck off.
