LOL I JUST remembered one scene that you will relate to - 8 of us, each with both hands full (either multiple bags or boxes), marching through the lobby of the hotel past the concierge and the elevator guard. just grocery bags and boxes........filled with hard liquor and wines

Agreed. If I was there on vacation, it would be nice to get the high end rooms offered. When you go to these conferences, you essentially do little more than catch a few hours sleep. You spend the other 20 hours of the days networking, partying, or whatever.

I would have to check the reservation, but I think I am Paradise tower pool view. Not that it matters, as it's typically 40 degrees the past few years around this time of year in Vegas. In short,....not a lot of hunnies out here in snowmobile suits.

There were a lot of sweet Vegas deals for that week.

You could have stayed at some of the nicer resorts (Bellagio, Venetian, Paris) for a few hundred bucks more. It was a temping offer to be sure. However, you add in all of the cabs and hassle, just not worth it for a conference week.

bingo. I learned that the hardway.

got an 90 minute stretch between meetings ?? you can pick: two cab rides and cab lines(there and back) and get 50-40 minutes to yourself VS up the elevator and shoes off and horizontal for an hour and 15.............you wont appreciate that differnce until you expereince both.....and then theres the whole informal party scene that you can just use the elevator to get to

Pool will be closed of course, but it's been mid-high 60s the last week, and very warm if you're in the sun... I've been wearing a tshirt during the day since new years eve.
