              they play here all the time, nashville pussy is from atlanta too, so nothing real big there...

              hank III isn't something I really listen to, but I do love the reverend

                              I saw the Rev with Hank III a few years ago and it was a great show. If I added them all up I must've seen the Rev at least 50 times live with no exaggeration. The first time I saw them live they opened for White Zombie and Pantera. Talk about a mismatched opener...

                                      I used to follow them around a lot when I lived in Dayton. They would usually play a bar called Canal Street Tavern there, followed by shows in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. I tried to make as many shows as I could.

                                      The tour with Hank III was a few years ago, when they were alternating him and the Super Suckers as openers.

                                      I saw Nashville Pussy several years ago when they opened for someone else (I can't remember who), but I think one of the hot chicks in the band has left since then. They were fucking great and the tall psycho chicks with the tats is fucking HOT!

                                                  I haven't been there since Katrina hit so I don't know if any of these are still standing, but I personally either stayed at the Omni Royal on Royal St (just make sure you get a suite because some of the single rooms are tiny), or the Royal Sonesta if you want to stay right on Bourbon St. If you want to go with one of the cheaper chain hotels the Sheraton on Canal St is nice, and it's not technically in the French Quarter but it is like a 30 second walk across the street away, and usually cheaper than the French Quarter hotels...

I dont usually stay for the "Ass-Jackles" or whatever his speed metal project is, but if you have not seen it, you should stay for the whole experience. Have to look into when they are coming my way.
