the only idea I ever stole was the free trials and $1 trial idea from stiffy and cresent.

As far as I remember they kept rebilling people months after they had cancelled, billed people for multiple sites instead of one and their free trial was a free month after the first fully paid one (hint to this was buried in their terms and conditions). I think they closed it down because all this shit started hitting the fan...but I'm not really sure.
