    2257 Question - Need some advice

    If you have a porn related youtube site where users can upload there own sex clips/videos then what about 2257 regulations?

    I don't live in the US, i live in Europe, does that change anything?

    Please advice.

      At this time you can ignore 2257.

      However please, and I am asking you very nicely. Monitor your uploads or hire people to upload, so that only sponsor approved content ends up on your tube site and we all do not hate you and want your death.

          The uploads would be from amateurs themselves although i got no way of checking that.

          At this time i didn't launch anything yet and i'm seriously thinking not to launch. One thing i DON'T want to do is burn bridges.........

          I could set the site to no auto approve but still..... that doesn't give me a wat to check that the uploaded videos are from the people who uploaded it.

                              If you make a tube site, just add in your own videos and make sure they are sponsor trailer videos and or uploaded by sponsors only. Simple as that.

                              Otherwise you know damn well people will upload pirated videos.

                                  Infact get a membership to a site download the clips and just put em on the site. Be sure to resell Dating programs in them only.

                                  In Eastern EU you can take any content you want for your videotube site.

                                                  The only damn web 2.0 shit I seen that really works was web 2.0 before there was a web 2.0 and that was that red eye porn site thing where people would submit videos and pics but it had to have their logo/sticker in them or drawn on them etc. Fuck I wish I could remember that sites name.

                                                              Last thing i want is sponsor or any other protected content on my free site. I've been in adult long enough to know that people work for their earnings and there are enough people making money on someone else his/her work, i don't want to be one of them, that's why i aksed the question.

                                                              I think i'm gonna change the project into mainstream, not adult related but still a good idea Kinda like a mainstream non-adult niche.

                                                              It should be finished within a few days, i'll post when i launch it.

                                                                              Indicating who the "custodian of records" are is actually a good thing... anyone posting their content to your site may be under the legal age and your local police dept. may not like the idea and shut you down and take away your equipment and possibly sell it...
