Next steps for them...
So now we have CCBill set up as our processor for our physical goods store DNBookstore.com and all my current DavidNudesCash affiliates from account 936902 get full credit for their sales there under the same program.
BUT!
Now we have one more problem to work out with CCBill, and we will see what they are able to do- Current subscription sites by David-Nudes pays out 50% lifetime to affiliates, as is standard. But for the physical goods store, we absolutely must adjust payout percentages for DNBookstore.com only. The reason for this is simple- CCBill processes the full total including shipping. So with cost of goods plus shipping, then a 50% chop off the top of that, and it actually would cost every single order. The industry standard for retail affiliate payout percentage is different because of this.
So I need to be able to take all my current affiliates and, without asking all of them to go sign up to a completely different program for the physical goods store, and set them to have different payout rules for the different websites, with subscription sites staying at 50% and the physical goods store to be at some different percentage or flat payout.
From a programmers point of view, the simple solution is to offer one affiliate program with different payout rules tied to their subaccount. Im afraid that they will require me to convince all my affiliates to go join a new program for the DNBookstore, instead of offering them a behind-the-scenes integration where they dont have to do anything more than put the right linking code in their promos/galleries.
We will see what the solution is! For now, Ive got the standard grouping feature set so that all affiliates are getting the 50/50 deal for all subaccounts, including DNBookstore.com.
