The first two stories merely speculate based on anecdotal evidence (which may or may not be correct) that Ron Paul may have gotten more than his apportioned share simply because while Romney and Santorum supporters left, Paul's supporters saw the thing through and may have ended up being over -represented since it was a non binding vote and ultimately those delegates are not required to vote for either Romney or Santorum despite their getting more votes. Can your feeble mind grasp that concept?
