What freak...is marylin manson really worth a tattoo? What did his career have, like a 3 year shelf-life, max?
Not that I am a fan of his at all. But you really should give credit where credit is due. He released his first album in 1994 and just released another one this year. So he has been in the music industry for over a decade, where most "flavour of the week" bands fade after a year or two. Then there is the best selling book that he wrote and the art that he is currently selling. Like I said, I'm no fan, but I think that you have to give this guy credit for being an excellent business man who is really good at marketing himself. Not to mention that he is incredibly intelligent and one of the most articulate people to ever emerge from the realm of pop culture.

"Fan" tattoos are weird. I've never liked any artist/band/celebrity enough to put their poster on my wall, let alone tattoo them on my body.
Went to the Sunset H.O.B. a few years back for some corporate event...
Chilling in the Foundation Room, and it turns out the show that night was Dokken, and we were asked if any of us wanted to see the show... and so I figured, what the hell... I'd relive a bit my big-hair-band days...
Go downstairs to see a fan wailing with his shirt off and a huge "Dokken" logo tattoo'ed across the length of his back.
Bet that guy had been waiting for that concert for a long time.

no doubt man, people really underestimate manson, hes a genious, and is NOTHING like people think he is, he's even said it many times on howard stern and other interviews, everything you sheep know about him, is just a show, his job... just like you guys peddling porn, its your job.
to each their own... alot of you are some judgemental pricks. it's her fucking body for crying out loud, she could put a tattoo of a steaming pile of shit if she chooses... get it? her CHOICE. alot of fucking high horses in here.
