Yes, I played too - a central midfield - the creative playmaker, there was a time when we played football (or soccer) ALL the time - no matter if it was summer, winter, raining, snow, ice - we played almost every day and under any circumnstances.

Love the game, but hate the diving and the douche players. Right now our national team sucks because it's full of metrogays caring more about their tabloid girlfriends, hairdos and club contracts, old skool is gone.

Me too. It wasn't uncommon in the summers to be playing 16 hours a day with breaks for food, drinks and occasional stretching or wound tending.

It's no fun if you can't be racing over 100 MPH. Any sport watching a bunch of guys running around for a ball just seems boring.

I've been racing bikes and cars for a long time, that's fun.
