    Thanks for the surfing Tips in Hawaii...(Pic Inside)

    Not of our surfing, but the beautiful sunset.
    We did find some 3-4 foot waves, the fiance and I surfed for about 3 hours and made the best of it on the small waves.

    Thanks for all your help guys.

                  Do you both surf? What kind of place did you stay in? Hawaii sounds absolutely stunning and I'm hoping to get there one day.

                          We stayed here. http://www.grandwailea.com. Great place. Great weather.
                          We both do everything else, she used to race motorcycles as well, both love crazy sports but living in LA, I never liked our waters. So our goal was to surf once we got to Hawaii. We both did pretty good. Rode almost every wave. No fancy turning or anything, but it was fun.

                          Great resort if you do go there.

                          It was fun but paddling back out for the waves is draining. That is why I love sports with engines in it.

                                                                                                  I forgot that your lady used to race motorcycles too. Surfing sounds like so much fun but I can only imagine how exhausting it is! I've intended to learn how to surf for so long now, but it never seems to happen. I think the next holiday I take, I'd better make a point of it.

                                                                                                              The surfing part is fun, the paddling back out to hit the next wave was the hard part. Makes you want to miss all the waves because you are so relaxed on that surfboard. Definitely need to be in shape for surfing, which I AM not!

                                                                                                              And try not to learn on big waves, that can be rough.
