I've never had problems withdrawing money here in Brazil, in Mexico and in the US.

Don't know about Canada from experience, but I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems.

Yes if the ATM has the VISA PLUS/Electron logo the card will work.

most of the ones at actual banks will work fine but ones inside gas stations ( private atm's ) won't work..

7-11 has cibc bank machines so they will work.

any cibc , td or bom machine will work.

99% of the worlds atms have the pulse logo so doesnt matter if it has a vis aelectron logo

most atm's in canada have the plus logo, at least all the big banks do.
there are those private atm's that do not take visa at all
we have a bunch of those atm's in alot of small corner type stores
