He was making a fucking bed out of the dead feline's body, or claiming it, or waiting around for it to rot so he could eat it. Who knows what he wanted with it, but what it was not doing was having an emotional break down because the cat was dead or trying to rivive it.
Mothering cats eat their dead babies because they love them so much right? No, it so the corpse does not create disease / rot in the "nest", it all has a purpose that is non-emotional and based on an instinctive level of survival. They need to function based on instinct, rather than emotion, or in the real world
where they came from they would not survive, or at least not as long.
They are amazing animals and we should stop trying to make sense of their actions on a humanized level, or make them relatable to us for our own selfish needs. They should be respected, and dumb ass videos like this do the opposite of that.
I understand you are taking the route in this argument of "I don't know, so I can't be wrong", but having you tell me that an animal, acting like an animal, has human tendencies or actions is 100% fucking retarded. You have not came out and flatly said it but your consistent argument against my claim of "An animal is acting like an animal" shows otherwise or you just plain like to argue or possibly a hardcore cat fan that is offended by reality.
I respect cats and love how primitive and/or instinctive they are. Putting clothes on them, keeping them in your purse, babying them like children, and humanizing them is ridiculous. Your cat may be your best friend and you have spent 15 years cuddling with them on the couch, however, pour an unknown cats urine on one of their toys and try and take it from them, see how fucking much they "love" you now when they go for your neck. That is instinct and they live by it.
