type chrome://plugins into the url bar, check to see if there are 2 versions installed in the list, top right expand 'details' button, then you can disable them independently. It's normally the built in flash version that fucks up.

Other is to update or rollback the flash driver - it's been a pain in my ass over and over but I love chrome!
