That's a pretty sensationalist news story, is that the usual kind of crap they produce? Sure, I'd hate to think that someone who was virtually stalking my daughter may also be able to locate her, but the chances of it actually happening are pretty damn slim. Just like being the victim of a suicide bomber.
The location issue goes much further though. I have several friends on FB who have a "Home" location configured... yeah, you've just announced you're home, but you've also announced WHERE it is. These are the people with 300 online friends but only really know 10% of them. Would you give your home address to an acquaintance?
