Skipping ahead through videos doesn't have as much to do wtih the script as the configuration of your httpd.

yea those are direct mp4 links for phones, but i want the normal site to work on ipads for example.... like youtube, pornhub.

to do the animated thumbs your script needs to take screengrabs usally 3 or more, then its just javascript.
