They OWS people are using the same strategy as the Vietcong. Force the populace to fight the battles with them, so they can reserve their own supplies to wear down the opposition. If you haven't figured this out yet, OWS isn't a true protest/movement, but a battle of attrition.

The Bankers/Fed Reserve/Government who've created these problems or those who can fix them, figured they'd get tired and go away and that's not going to happen. By simply being there, no-matter how valid the message or not, there's a constant reminder of a problem, and why negative/positive/opinions (press) are irrelevant as this helps them, regardless.

It's a proven and effective method as we see the cops clued in and pulled back because if the press/opinions die down, some protestor will provoke an ass beating, as it then starts all over again.

It's actually a brilliant plan. This country is in severe political and financial trouble and somethings got to give, as there will be a huge blow-back. That's when these idiots are going to stand up and scream, we told you so and the only thing you did about it was complain about park conditions and shitting in trashcans, setting a clear path for their own true agendas.
