why dont you post some stats then for us to see on your tube traffic, last time I asked you to do this, you said something along the lines about google analytics doesnt track it.

So for a person to have tube traffic they have to list it in their sig, or avatar, or profile?

You're wrong again. I did use Google analytics years ago and the stats came from there and my ccbill link tracking them. The traffic came in floods and the moment they realised they had to pay, it went back. Which is an indication of the 100,000s who want more free, but don't have any intention of paying.

Now you can argue that a link that says "Enjoy more of Paul Markham Teens." is misleading. But when 90% don't even stay long enough to look, you can assume they have no intention of paying.

You're all talk. I don't have a Tube, never been bothered to drive traffic as that's the job of affiliates. some had Tubes and conversion on views sucked. Now you can argue that black is white till the cows come home. But no one believes you. We all know the ratios on Tubes is terrible. The only thing that keeps them going is the high traffic consuming porn for free.

This is nothing new. Most of you clever guys have always said "Why should anyone buy, when there's so much free?". Or is that wrong, the consumer still buys when there has never been so much free. And all those wise people are wrong and you're right?

TGP were poor conversion rates. 1,000s of people downloading or browsing for free and 20% at best clicking on a banner. Then conversions were 1-100 to 1-500. Depending. There some sites that were better and a few worse. Those conversion rates were 99% to 99.8% lost buyers. Now if you think 20% clicking and 99% of visitors not buying is good. You're deluded.

Our difference f opinion is what I think is good and bad and what you think is good and bad. I have higher goals than you. You seem to settle for a low achievement level. Nothing wrong with that, if it's the best you can do and I assume it is. I see it as a fail and why I never bothered going into the paysite market in a big way. I had bigger fish to fry.

Maybe you can list the Tubes you own, the ads or samples you placed on Tubes and your paysite. With ratios.

like you said, you are estimating and guessing, not everyone does crappy with tube traffic.

saying "we all know traffic on tubes is terrible" is just your opinion, not fact, someone may do terrible , and some may do very well, all depends, if the tube in questions traffic is productive, or shit.

and to say you have higher goals, in what way, its not like you actively push any products but your own, im sure the avg joe makes more in affiliate sales than you do in content sales of stale content.

The only reason they do well is the high amount of traffic. Which for now makes up for the poor ratios.

It was fact that my experience with Tube traffic was that if 1,000s clicked a link. Eventually one would join. Yes they sent me 1,000s of clicks. Still proves ratios were crap. It was one of the top Tubes, also submitted a lot of samples to Tubes and found the same thing.

The average Joe, wouldn't be in business if he had done as little work as we had for the last 3 years. Eva had a car accident in July 2008, that came withing centimeters of taking her life. She was unable to work for 6 months. February 2009 I found out the lump on the side of my neck was a cancer tumor, one of 3. I was given a 20% chance of living and even then without a tongue. The cancer was in the base of my tongue and throat.

So we decided to close the business. I'm a registered invalid and without me driving the business it was pointless keeping it going. We just kept the stores and site open to take what ever money was there. 2009 was a great year profit wise, we had little costs. 2010 definitely showed a decrease, which had continued through 2011. Will probably shut up shop and sell the stores out at blow out prices sometime in 2012.

In 1977 I nearly went bankrupt and only came back to porn to earn money to pay off debts. 1980 onwards I was a very successful salesman selling entire installations of office furniture, a couple of years in the 6 figure area. Bought a two story apartment in London and put a lot of money into pensions.
