If you are talking about porn, you will get the above criticisms about too much light etc etc, Porn is a very very conservative industry run by business men not artists.
They want the same picture / style over and over again. One little change and your breaking the rules.
These rules are unwritten, untested and utter bollocks. just read some of Paul Markhams comments on photography to see.
Your photograph is a good starting point. High Key photography is a well trodden path. I though the light from the left over did it. It would be good to see some close ups and interesting angles and compositions all done in the same high key. May be think of some very black elements to add contrast. look at how good her dark eyes shine.
The only rule is to look at the picture as if for the first time , through the eyes of a child, to read it fresh and for the first time. Without the cultural baggage of what is a "good" or "bad" picture.
