I use them both (in addition to others) and they all have their dis/advantages.

I typically will use a CMS based on what my end uses are (pay site, tubes, etc.).

wordpress works great but it it makes you feel better to spend money on a CMS then Elevated X is the way to go.

Individually for each projects, for blogs default CMS wordpress because this CMS have great SEO plugins , others projects - others CMS

I have tried a few other CMS's... and I ended up at Elevated X a few years ago. This will be my last stop, simply because it's the best one out there. You won't be unhappy with Elevated X, that's for sure.

been using ElevatedX for a couple years now and i love it....i use it for all sorts of things besides even as a CMS...i use it to run 4 FLVs for Tube Clips, Min FLVs for gallery work, plus all the site stuff...the way you can simply load up a queue and itll run nonstop until its done helps a lot...i run it literally 24/7...

by far one of, if not the best CMS you'll ever use

If you want bells and whistles then it has to be ElevatedX.
I have been using it now for two years and it has completely transformed my sites and my work process.
Some of the great features which I have and love:
1) One click to mobile for automatically adding content to mobile site.
2) Automatic video transcoding. I can upload one movie and let the CMS trasncode into multiple movie formats and split clips at the touch of a button.
3) Multiple style tours. Out of the box ElevatedX allows you to create episode style tours, tube style tours or a transparent tour.
4) All access / mega-pass network to give my members access to multiple sites with one subscription.
5) Gallery Builder Add-on. This I'm waiting for installation to be completed, but the bottom line is that I will be able to save a heap of time by creating promo tools for my affiliates. The facility to be able to create any type of FHG and cut movie clips right in the cms admin panel is a great tool in itself.
6) Great support. AJ and the team will keep look after you. If the worst case scenario happens and your site goes down they will answer an emergency ticket within minutes, respond and fix any time of the day!

I'm sure there is much more I could say but these are the key features.
I don't see any other CMS out there which could match this feature list.

My advice is to go with ElevatedX or you will regret it somewhere along the line.

While Mechbunny is by far the best tube script and extensible enough to be a cms, ElevatedX is specifically designed for that purpose first and has a ton of functionality already built in. I can honestly say that we have more than dozens of happy clients using both software packages. The products from other CMS vendors are good products, I think, but specifically for that purpose it seems ElevatedX still has the market lead. I have seen successful implementations of Konrads software as a CMS, especially recently. With that said, I suggest to list your requirements and compare the features and prices of both to determine what the best fit is for your business.

We've built sites for Playboy, Bijou, TitanMedia, and many others and imo Elevatedx is the only way to go. The support is stellar and the product has more features than you'll ever need. If you're going to build a membership site you need this shit.
