its doing 20k a month, mostly google, alexa = 1,374

wants middle xxx,xxx for it

its a graphics site for community sites. he serves the graphics you see on peoples myspaces.

Yea I use to run similar resource sites for myspace, perf, hi5 etc. But i sold them all.

Just didn't know this site was making that much, well i guess now i do :-)

lot of idiots on here, you guys don't realize why someone would want to hide their url to a site that they posted INCOME and their traffic sources? i don't know about you, but i don't like anyone knowing how much money i make on the sites i run. theres no reason someone should have all that info if they cant afford it or aren't interested.

It's like high priced real estate when it goes up for sale. Many people (sellers) want people (potential buyers) prequalified for the loan amount before they let them know what the inside of the home even looks like. It's called wasting time with people that wouldn't buy it anyways. Every Tom, Dick and Harry would want to go parading through the home wondering how the other people live.

Shit some people do not even put for sale signs up because they want to keep a certain level of privacy. I wouldn't post the URL either.

Details isn't the url. Details is information like age, stability, a rough indication of things like sponsor relationships, work required, overhead, etc.

There are hundreds of people posting "business opportunities" on GFY. Most people with a decent business get contacted several times a week with proposals. Few of the people who are actually in a position to acquire new businesses will be inclined to put in effort based on "20k a month, decent alexa rank, graphics".

I've seen a zero monetized site put up surprising alexa numbers based only on hotlinked images... the actual site index page got very little traffic, but alexa numbers made the site look much more popular than it is

And you don't see the difference between parading people through ones private residence and posting a URL that's already publically available\viewable?

If you're going to look into buying a private business that you could potentially end up running you're damn right more information should be provided, even at the 'listing' level.
