I know I'm thinking outside the box here, but let's say your name is John Smith or Electronics Ltd and you do not want your name associated with a gay ass banging site. What's the easiest way to protect it? Buy the TLD.

Maybe these two haven't been taken, but how many have and wil be renewed over and over again?

Adult is shrinking, the trough is getting smaller every day. Both in revenue and in numbers. Big boys are protected by trade marks. Are there 1 million small domains that will be picked up with a .xxx extension year after year?

That's only $100 million, sounds a lot until you think what ICM is spending advertising .xxx to the general public.

Anyone else think Lawley is planning to sell the TLD further afield than the Adult Industry?
