"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

Holly shit, I've just took a look, lmao. So many shitty names. And just think how much people spent for those...
I don't really understand that. There are still 3 letter .xxx left, one word .xxx, hell even 3 letter one word .xxx left. Why would those people spend a hundred bucks to register such shit domains to try and resell?

Everyone's looking for the next virtual gold rush and the idiots listing this shit on eBay don't realize .xxx ain't it.
Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? Hit me up.

go peruse the buy/sell forum and you'll understand a little better
Does anyone remember people spending money like crazy for .tv extensions?
How much are those domains worth today?
I think the difference here is, .XXX is spending a shit load of money on advertising, everywhere. They are making the public aware that it exists and you can find porn there. From youtube, to TV, to Howard Stern, they are putting the word out and that WILL make curious porn lovers look.
It is not a get rich tld by any means, any domain is what you make of it, but if they spend enough making the public aware, it just may work. I would expect type-ins to be high on these as people look for various words.xxx just to see if they are there, as the ads suggest.

4.5 million from Landrush through the end of the year with a focus on buy.xxx and brand development.
20 million for 2012 will be more consumer focused to drive traffic.
Not smart of these people to put these domains on eBay already because if ICM sees the value of those domains they will cancel them and put them on eBay themselves.
All of my friends think .xxx is where all adult sites will be going... As in they are being kicked off of everything else...
No one knows for sure if that will happen or not. Personally, I could see things blocked at an ISP level.
What I do know is, IFFOR is in Washington, and there is a LOT of money behind this. They are not pissing that money away for nothing. They are trying to make power moves. And at the end of the day, money talks.
I'm not worried, for first thing I wont be doing seo for any .XXX websites, because it will be a huge time waster trying to get back links (hard or posts) with all the haters.
Keep in mind that a lot of people wont be doing any trading with .xxx domains because of fear that their sponsors would drop them and like someone mentioned it "could" be worth less than a .info or a .name to Google.
Keep in mind that no signs have come from Google regarding these domains, even if some networks and top class blogs have posted about it, but before all you haters start opening your bubbly and party about that I would wait and see, as we are at the very fist stages and no real seo work has been made on a .xxx website yet.
However I speculate that it could be in the same consideration level as a .name or a .fm.
I want to buy contextual links on quality blogs For both Adult and mainstream niche - Small to massive packages
