Usenet was the home of free porn before anyone had even dreamed of selling it online. It's where millionaire webmasters of 2011 used to steal porn from and sell it in the 90s, before they got rich enough to make their own and issue DMCAs, after suddenly deciding for some unknown reason that theft of porn was wrong.
