Well, what do you expect from Kim:

He is on probation for insider trading, bought stocks of letsbuyit.com, claimed he'd invest 50m in the company, stock of the nearly bankrupt company skyrocketed and Kim sold his stocks, made about 1m and ran...until they catched him in thailand.

The criminal record from his youth includes computer crimes, fraud, he sold calling cards and pirated software, but got away with 2 years on probation.

He tried to scam investors with his infamous Kimvestor shit.

He founded YIHAT (Young intelligent hackers against terrorism), wanted to fight terrorism offered a huge reward for Bin Laden.

He claimed to have a software to make huge profit with stocks, Trendax, but the project never went live.

But he's a damn lucky guy, managed to pull his ass out of trouble loads of times...but everything he touches is fishy, shady and you are certainly doing well by staying away from doing business with this guy.
