    Best dock for iPhone?

    I would like to get a dock with a speaker setup for my iPhone 4S so I can listen to my audio files while getting ready in the morning. What is the best setup for this? My phone is also in a Speck case and I do not want to take it out every morning in order to dock, so the dock would need to support that. I don't know if this is standard or not.

          I've always liked the Bose sounddocks. Expensive as always but better quality than any other docks I've heard.

              I have this Bose Sound Dock and I love it. Picked it up in the boxing day sales last year for around $450 with tax. In summer we'd use it in the garden all the time, having bbqs or sitting round the fire at night with a glass of wine. I defo recommend it, the sound it produces is amazing.

                          Most likely the best sound quality you'll find in a compact dock type unit and it supports airplay so you won't need to remove it from your case just to play (can't speak to the case as far as actually connecting it to charge, etc.)

                          No offense Ross, but anyone recommending Bose can't be taken seriously

                              It is amazing.
                              Tubes are fun and look very cool & retro, but at that size & price-point your DAC and drivers are going to have much much more affect on your sound quality than the amplifier. That said, I've never heard it and would love to check it out one day.
