What happened was this: Leslie told me to hire and supervise a designer to build all the Digital Playground ad tools since she had all our in house guys busy doing crap menus and such for internext. Typical dumbass Leslie move.

Anyway...

I looked at Deej's portfolio and saw a couple of things I liked and passed his info along to Leslie for approval. She said go for it so I did.

Over the next week Deej delivered 2 or 3 substandard banners and a movie gallery template that did not meet ANYONES approval.

Leslie quite clearly stated the work was unacceptable and that I needed to find someone else. I did. I went to bat for you r.e. the time you'd spent and you're lucky I even asked for the invoice for the "work" you'd done to that point.

My last communication from her about this issue and about you consisted of her stating in no uncertain terms that you sucked and were getting shit. Although I agreed on the you sucking donkey ass part, a deal is a deal so I argued it and finally she agreed to pay for the crap you'd done.

I have logs on all this. So be be very careful cunt.

This is how the story goes...

Jim contacted me for design work on a few sites. Jim asked for low pricing due to bulk and ongoing work.

6 different sites

68 Banners
12 HPA
12 FPA
9 pic galleries
8 movie galleries

109 pieces total

I quoted him 1350, less than 13 a piece, very competitive if you ask me.

I sent in some banners, they were not sufficient.









They didnt like these, so I asked to trya nother site.



I was told this one they liked due to contrasting colors.

Then I made a gallery.



I was told this was no good either. After i modified it a couple times to see if they would like it then. nope.

Then Jim and I made a decision to make an FPA and if they dont like it then we will part ways, if they like it then we move on.




I never got an opinion on this one, this is where Jim dissappeared. I left "hey yous" and shit on his ICQ, his reply was. "most likely wont get a reply til after the show" this was during internext.

Never heard form Jim again.

I notcied he had a new sig and new design. So i confronted jim, he said they had decided to drop my order and that its out of his hands. He said he would give my invoice to the heads. This was on Jims last day i believe... the 15th, wednesday...
