This is as good a time as any to announce that multiple rewriter and multiple relinker are finally going in.
These will be new functions so your current settings will not be affected.
Relinker will be able to handle multiple links per keyword or phrase instead of just one as it currently does.
The real exciting thing for me is something I've wanted in ABP to combat dupe content worries since we first added the rewriter feature... Multiple rewrites.
Multiple Rewriter will allow you to create word sets for rewriting and can be campaign specific so you would be able to reuse sets as needed without having to create new rewrite rules.
Essentially what this means is if you have a word set for the keyword teen you can include teen, schoolgirl, teenage, teen girl, teenage girl, eighteen etc etc.
When you post out a campaign if any words within your word sets are triggered it will randomize them.
It will also be able to handle phrases! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Hopefully I'll be testing it tomorrow and if all is well it could get released within the next day or so.Last edited by Chio; 08-28-2007, 11:31 PM.

I'm using Blogs Organizer to update 169 blogs hosted on 5 different hosts and I absolutely love it, makes your life 100 times easier
basically if you work only on 1 or two blogs you don't need anything more than wordpress. Once you decide to work on 10+ blogs you better get yourself copy of Blogs OrganizerComment

Just a little note that the free solution rss2anywhere now also has a rewriter to prevent content duplication. rss2anywhere is likely more simple, but it does the job and now even better with the simple rewriter

I checked this out last night and it's not bad at all. I have 5 domains running it, 5 different hosts, all mainstream, 50 templates (to reduce footprints), 20-25 blogs on each domain, updating daily, after 4 months traffic is around 100-300 uniques a day and growing on each one
I set them up conservatively, i do not have many external links going to them and I run no ads on them, just lightly seed them with links to other sites, none have been blacklisted. Traffic is shit compared to many of my other test projects but its still traffic and they do run 100% hands free

Thanks Chio, rss2anywhere was created for hosted blog services like thumblogger/sensualwriter. Some webmasters on these services don't yet have a server that can run scripts. But recently i see more people using rss2anywhere with their own wordpress blogs, i suspect that the amount of freely available wordpress plugin with a rewriter is not very big.
