I have left a few jobs I had been at for a little while in the past. If you have vacation days coming it is pretty standard that most places pay you for those. Many companies also pay you for sick time you have left. One place I worked at didn't pay for sick time, but my manager did arrange for me to be "sick" for a few days after I gave my two weeks notice so that I could use that time up.

As far as severance goes, most places I have heard of don't give it to you when you quit the job unless it is in a contract. The same goes for benefits likely they are gone when you leave.

If you have a 401K or some kind of retirement you can take that with you.
