Okay, my question is - is there a way to COOL something as there is to heat it?

I'm sure I remember something coming out that could cool something at the same time those self-heating beverages came out, but I could have been imagining it. Thinking more about it, I'm not sure if that can be done; I'm no scientist, but Chemistry lessons in school always taught me that chemical reactions make energy as heat, not as "coolness".

Yeah it would most likely have to contain freon, compressed air or similiar to cool
