They show a very dark image of a gun but the next frame is the officer's own weapon which is a shotgun and a flashlight attached to it. That's what it looks like to me anyway.

I did not speak to its accuracy at all...I spoke to the range and it will certainly travel the 1000 feet the poster mentioned...and of course the accuracy also depends upon the shooters proficiency at using "Kentucky windage". I have shot more than one rabbit at a quarter mile using a standard rim fire .22 using "Kentucky Windage". The reason I know that the range was a quarter of a mile is...the farm rows were a quarter of a mile in length...with the rabbit being at or near the end of the row.
