    Google thing today

    Google music thing being announced today.

    I've heard it will integrate with google+ in some way, possibly you can share a track you've bought with two friends and they get one play each. Better than an excerpt, but still a little meh imho.

    However, the thing I want to see is SPINAL TAP. The ad for the event says "things go up to 11" so clearly The Tap have to be playing there. I hope. And I hope it's streamed.

    When is 2pm pst?

    Is it being streamed?

              I love Google music. I think it's the end all of music. I don't want to store my music on an MP3 player where I can loose it. I want it online where I can access it from any computer in the world, any device. It's hooked up to my cell phone so I can listen to it anywhere I want.

                  It's great if you don't care about lossless. I spent a great deal of time ripping all my music to lossless, then popping the CDs up in the loft. Cloud streaming ain't gonna be lossless for some time...

                          Ripping a CD to lossless? That is like pouring La Cadena into a Patron Silver bottle...

                                  really hate how any new google product starts sharing everything with everything else. don't really want to people to know i listen to celine dion in the the lonely hours of the night. not going to bother.
