    Adult Forum Owners: You might want to see this

    Over the last 24 hours I have been contacted by two people that were unable to access GFY. I requested they send me tracert's to see where the failure was since they both (coincidentally) lived in NoCal. I was sure there was an issue with routing.

    I may be wrong.

    One of the guys has reported back with his tracert:

    traceroute:

    unknown host gfy.com
    unknown host gofuckyourself.com

    A little investigation has come up with the following:

    Notice all the boards on the list?

    It is suspected that this is being passed via YouTube videos, but that is just a guess at this point.

    The solution provided only works for pc's, and when a Mac solution has been found I will put a link up for it too.

                              There are shitloads of sites with fake vids being spammed and posted on message boards with what look like real videos that ask you to download a codec to be able to play them.

                                          I just received the following spam to an emailaddy I hardly use:
                                          Man you have got to tell me where you picked her up. I saw this on the web, it has to be you. take a look, lol... http://www.youtube.com/blocked

                                          (blocked the exact you tube link to prevent people from clicking it)

                                          It might have something to do with it....

                                              That is what I was told too. He said he was getting a lot of YouTube spam. Said he never clicked it, but he had from links put up on GFY.

                                                          I just downloaded the Vivo-Active codec to see full motion movies on the interweb. Is that bad? Will it work on my Windows 95 machine?
