it's amazing there isn't a single simple wordpress tube theme that works out there.

all the adult designers are trying to charge $500 for some flashy design when their are better
options with mainstream sites...

Jel, all you have to do is use any of these themes and then instead of using sponsor.flv when u add the flv url just add your own videos. Make a videos folder in your wp instal and add your vids there and then use the urls to those vids to use your own vids in the theme

you're comparing custom to non-exclusive prices.

Also, it's not the same to have a couple thousand prospective customers (at most) than having tens of millions. Specialization has its costs, custom has its costs. They can charge 50 to 90 dollars but they sell it hundreds of times, and most of the times you're left alone with support because they sell themes so many times support is non-existent.

Anyway, in general, people caring about their business will pay the price to have a better product, or personalization or branding or whatever. This doesn't mean that ALL people selling custom tube or wp or whatever themes will provide a better service, but any serious developing company is safe to go, just be aware of the "fly by night" people

Not that I care, of course. We have something that can compete with most tube themes and most tube scripts and I don't even care to sell or promote it, those in the know will buy it, those that don't know won't: our clients get a better product, they get competitive advantages and we don't deal with the hassles of letting it run in the wild. As simple as that. Heck, I think I posted like 5 times the last month, so guess some people is paying a little more money for full satisfaction
