    England versus Spain... 1.0

    Hey, did anyone watch it live? From the small clips I have seen, the players all look on top form & it looked like a great game!

          They done good conisidering it was a friendly and it was against the best team in the world these days.

          They took a lot of pressure and didn't let anything slip through.

                  Spain kept trying to ball pass through a packed defense, they rarely changed that tactic. They were continually stopped by England. The goal keeper had a fairly quiet game. England had one good chance in the second half and Lampard was there for the rebound. Rushing in to pick up any loose ball. As trained.

                  Lucky Spain didn't have the ability to adapt to the oppositions style of play? Maybe.

                      That won't win England tournaments though. They got lucky by packing out the defence, and stealing a goal to win 1 - 0 this time.

                      Playing this way is basically England admitting that Spain, Germany, Holland etc are simply better teams...

                              ScottMcD, I love Spain & always support them, but when it comes to England & Spain, I stick to my value & know i'm British.... I did think maybe the team to get further should win, let's hope England can do us & Spain proud by winning all the way
