The mess we are in is the previous administrations fault... Obama should not blame himself for issues he didn't create.
He was on bad terms with them the moment he came into office. As the GOP said, they would rather see him fail, basically they aren't going to work with him, even if the Country already failed, they still wouldn't work with him.
