    Surf's up! (pics)

    I had to shoot an event at the beach this morning. It was a run from Hermosa Beach pier to the Manhattan Beach pier. After the runners took off, I went down to shoot the surf and some of the surfers that showed up.

                                                  Thank you. I recently started experimenting with a company that takes my sports photos then sells downloads or framed prints. It made me consider adding a plugin to my blog to sell prints. Your post gave me some confidence.

Our weather here is some of the best in the world, while you have god awful humidity (summers are particularly unbearable) and more endings to "You know you're a redneck if......" than the rest of the south combined. Oh, and you don't have shit for surf unless a hurricane is close.

                                                                                              I own a house in Miami and only spend 2-3 months a year there only because the beach here is so much better.

                                                                                                                          i was looking at Malibu real estate the other day, I was very surprised that the prices seemed fairly reasonable some even suprisingly low. I saw a lot for sale right on the beach, 975,000 - seemed low for a piece of beachfront property on one of the world's most famous beach communities.

                                                                                                                              Miami and Fort Lauderdale are both in the top 5 vacation destinations this year.

                                                                                                                              You do have the humidity right but you get used to that.

                                                                                                                              You of all people should know South Florida is nothing like the rest of Florida.

                                                                                                                              5-6' waves today, btw. No named storms. Was playing in big waves on Thursday... but since I am not a surfer I don't care.

Some of them are very nice, but it's a big turnoff for me when the horizon is not straight, that makes it look like you didn't even bother to try to hold the camera straight
