Man Dies After Putting His Head Out Car Window and Hitting it on a Pole

New York: 29-year-old Aleksandr Shvartser has died after reportedly hitting his head on a pole while traveling with his head out the window of an SUV. The driver of the vehicle has been charged with drunken driving.

Police investigated the vehicle after receiving reports that it had been driven erratically. They found Shvartser bleeding from head wounds and rushed him to hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

At first police were unsure what had happened but interviews with the driver and the passenger revealed the cause of the injuries. An autopsy is planned but an X-ray has already revealed skull fractures.

That actually happened to a friend of mine.... he left the bar pretty late and the windows were all frosted over. So he stuck his head out the window to drive, but as you know... driving with your head to side tends to pull you car to that side as well.

He hit a tree... his truck hit the next tree.

What's worse is his little brother fixed the truck over the course of the year, and on the anniversary... drove back to the tree and shot himself.

Strange, I know... but it's a true story.

My mother warned me about such things when I was a child. She always told me some story about a kid who's head snapped off by a semi hanging out the window.

Sucks... similar thing happened in my hometown to a kid year after our high school graduation...

Got high and stupid with a few friends, driving to quick down the street, lost control. He wasn't wearing seatbelt, and had half his body hanging out of a window as car spun out of control next to a lamppost...
