Conservatives by their nature like to deal with experience, facts, and logic, not sophmoric attempts to make fun of people. The purely emotional, including purely emotional attacks with no basis in reason, is pretty much the domain of the liberal, I'm afraid. That makes them much better songwriters and poets. Conservative songs and jokes would have numbers in them.

All kidding aside, Rush Limbaugh is the closest that comes to my mind, but it's a dry humor, so you have to keep in mind he is an entertainer and not take him too seriously. Colbert is more slapstick whereas Rush plays the straight man, not playing up his job as an ENTERTAINER as much.
