they do try but as you know it's obviously slanted to the left. i mean, all they really do is make fun of the absurdities and inconsistencies. i'm SURE that maxine waters alone could fill up a segment on a right slanted show

All kidding aside, Rush Limbaugh is the closest that comes to my mind, but it's a dry humor, so you have to keep in mind he is an entertainer and not take him too seriously. Colbert is more slapstick whereas Rush plays the straight man, not playing up his job as an ENTERTAINER as much.
