I cannot recall even one .tv domain that I have visited more than once. I searched my bookmarks (more than 3,000 items) and I have no .tv domains bookmarked.
What company do you do business with that uses a .tv as their main domain? Anyone who has a .net or .org (unless you are a non-profit/charitable entity, then .org is preferable to .com, I think) is almost always a secondary player in the market, the main player always has the .com.
Hate to bust your bubble...
Might develop it just for the SEO possibilities, it would prolly get a little traffic here and there...

No bubble to burst, I was just thinking from the avg. surfers point of view it sounded easy to remember, Fuckable.tv (the avg surfer will say tv must be tv like television..., as most big radio stations are going with the .fm names....) I agree with your thoughts on the SEO it could do well enough to make more than the $10 it cost. I normally would never buy a .tv, but on sale for $10 with a "ring" to it I figured it might be fun to play with, I will post an update on traffic later on (keep in mind my sites are mostly ehh)

A lot of MMA companies and fighters use .tv as their main tld. I don't know what started that trend, but even the UFC used UFC.tv before they got UFC.com.
I personally like the .tv tld, and I have noticed a lot of cable channels using it, too...
