How long does that generally last for you? When my hair was black, I would have chunks of it bleached out and dyed blue. Loved the look, but it was impossible to keep the color vibrant for more than about a week.

Here's a tip for you...try putting in some electric blue extensions. I have black hair, and put some hot pink and electric blue "peek-a-boo" extensions in...they looked great for 2-3 months before I had to take them out.

Wow that is hot pink! Does it fade out much? My hair is so resistant to dye that I have to make it totally bright and then wait a week or so for it to fade before I like it..

the colour fades a lot! this is why i'm on a 36 hour dye job - i have hope it will last through burning man!!! you should see my laptop keyboard, my fingers/hands, wife beater, walls pillows and blankets!!!

atomic pink last the longest i've ever seen in extreme colours. (made by Special Effects)

this particular pink lasts quite some time, but i also leave it in overnight. if i want it this bright all the time i need to repink every couple weeks.

That is a great idea, and one that I had not thought of. If I go back to black...~lol~...then I will try that. The other, while looking great, is just too much hassle for me for the small amount of time before it starts to fade.

I dyed my hair so many times in the past that I coudnt remember my real color, so I decided to shave my head and let it grow again. Well ... It was unreal my real color seems really extrange in that moment(Im brunette) so I decided to keep it that way.
