He WAS this nutty years ago, but he kept it to politics. I don't remember him going off the deep end until the whole content blowout thing started.

I would guess he's bitter at his failure in adult and in watching all his businesses decline and crumble in spite of what he perceives to be his own genius. It's hard to reconcile "i know everything about porn" with "i've failed at what i profess to know".

The human mind works very hard to reduce friction and contradiction and inconsistency. If he can't accept his own failure and get over it, he has to point at everything and everyone else until he can. As you can see, he's getting increasingly irrational and somewhat manic in his need to point the finger outward and assign blame (the common theme to everything he says). That's typically a sign that he's hitting rock bottom emotionally where this false reality he's constructed and desperately clings to of being important, of being skilled, of being knowledgeable, of actually even understanding the business is starting to crumble.
