I still think it's hilarious that a country with TWO OCEANS on either side and TWO DEFENSELESS COUNTRIES on its borders is THE MOST concerned about their defense and security.

There's no argument that the US alone has enough nukes already to blow up the world many times over, and have been able to for at least a decade or two.

The biggest problem I see with the whole thing is that a single country (in a world that's supposed to live in peace and harmony, just the way they want the streets of any country) has a "defense" budget that is more than 11x larger than second place, and clearly stirs shit halfway across the world by injecting $50bln dollars in weapons a year to a war-torn region.

Furthermore, the average American believes this is fine and dandy.

So if you lived in any other country on earth, how would you view that attitude?

Americans: Why do you need 12x the world's war budget? You have no scary neighbours even, and two oceans full of nuclear submarines, and skies full of planes, and the space full of satellites, all protecting you.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. My point is that while the USA's budget is 11x (give or take) all others, it doesn't mean that nobody else is up to no good.

I'm not American, I'm Canadian (insert tinpot navy and army jokes here, thanks) and from a moral standpoint I totally disagree with the Iraq war. As far as i am concerned they should have focused on Afghanistan and wandered through to Pakistan to clean up the rest.

Its pretty obvious where the terrorists are and who supports them. And sadly I have to acknowledge that its a lot easier and safer to kill people in their own region than have them come over here (North America). If you think about it, its a hell of a lot easier for anti-Americans in the middle east to cause a ruckus in Iraq by killing soldiers than it is for them to hop on a plane and kill civilians in the USA.

I have to aggree the British and American governments feed us so much propaganda, and the sad truth is a lot of people belive it, Both the US and UK meddle in other countries affairs and that is one of the reasons we are such hated nations, You can not expect nations from the Arab worlds to live as we do, and the worst thing you can do is force it upon them, This war in Iraq will not go away and the people of Iraq will not just give up, This is gonna end up like Israel and Phalestin, Its gonna go on for a long time, How would you react if your country was invaded, Im damm sure you would not just sit back and say ..OH well we have been invaded lets go and have a burger. Its the same for Afganistan, the conflict there will never end and more and more people "civilians and soldiers" just keep getting killed, its so damm stupid...and it looks like Iran is next on Americas list..

America needs to end it's two party system, it's just too easily corruptible. Throw in a third, unconnected party that has a real chance to win, and a strong leader people can get behind. Then the other two parties true colours would show.

I also don't believe they just hand over the country every 4 years, I mean what other corporation would do that? Plus you see when it all comes out they do the same shit..
