My ex-gf was obsessed with the Swiffer Wet Jet ads until we got one....worked for me, apt was cleaner...

For me tho, mostly beer ads.. or sometimes a new McFlurry or something like that

I stopped watching commercials about a year ago when I got DVR. We record almost everything that we watch now, and zip right past the commercials. I'm waiting for ppv cable tv, no commercials, I will buy that for $1.

The commercials, that I do see over and over, build a brand trust with me vs a want to buy that product. I have noticed going in stores that I will have two similar products, and often go for the one I have seen on TV the most through natural instink

Exactly, I was going to say something among those lines...

Most of the time the goal is not to make you GO buy something, but actually prefer it when it time comes to buy something...

This is quite a naive thread to be honest...

yeah, like those beauty products. shampoo, soap and lotion are those of the things i usually buy. specially the commercial that got my attention easily. well, marketing is really important..
