what a dissapointment. Heard from some friends that it was pretty good, and i remember seeing the trailer on tv thinking 'hey that might be a cool flick'... but i just watched it... and it fucking sucks. Jesus christ i just realized i really wasted my time with this movie, i've only had this feeling with 'walking tall' and 'oceans 12' before. Exceptional.

only some of the action sequences are cool (i think ive enjoyed about a total of ~2 minutes of the whole movie). That doesnt do it for me, when everything else is boring, lame and stupid. for me a movie is about entertainment, and this movie didnt entertain me at all, its a horrible drag to watch.Comment

The hitman (Alex Rocco) who kept morphing into other people made the whole movie. The other characters were just window dressing IMO. I gave it a 6 at IMDb myself. You might wanna check out Alpha Dog....better plot and not so gratuitous with the violence.

Tried to be the Usual Suspects at the end...Joe Carnahan's other flick, Narc is awesome. You should check that one out if you like seeing Ray Liotta chewing on some scenery like its beef jerky.
Smokin Aces had a couple of excellent scenes, but over all the movie sucked. The 50 cal sniper scene was awesome. Goes without saying. The other was Ben Affleck's corpse scene, with the dude lip syncing and moving his lips. His little speech was kind of touching -- and it was Affleck's best performance ever, without even actually saying a word.

smokin aces for some reason is the one movie i can't seem to watch. not because i don't like it, but for some reason i always fall asleep. i'm always pissed when i wake up and it's over because i remember it being good, but maybe not... i don't know.

My friend is in that movie. He's a stuntman. He says (and I never saw the film, but he's on the trailer) he says he was in a shot where all he and his gang had to do was cross the street. He says that he and his gang look bad ass but they get killed even before they cross the street.

The action didn't quite make up for the dialogue and story, but it wasn't THAT bad. But I will be honest, the black girls were getting on my nerves the whole movie. All I could think about was ball gagging the "Manly" one just to shut her the fuck up.
