Well .... after doing some poking around different tech websites, it appears that 802.11n routers ARE indeed backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b .... you just will not of course be able to use the full speed of the Wireless N band ...
Similar to if you mix and match PC3200 RAM and PC2700 RAM, your computer would read both sticks as PC2700 ... A Wireless N router will send a signal to G and B devices, but it will only be as fast as their standard allows.
So the Cisco Valet M10 is back in the running also. LOTS of very good comments about this router ...
Fuck I hate decisions .... that's what I got a wife unit for!!
