Truthfully, it's always been just a hobby and a good way to stay with online technology. I told myself 10 years ago that when it stops being fun, I'll dust off my golfclubs and spend more time on the course. It's getting near that time when I am just going to shut it all down. I find myself in these threads because I too am passionate. But my own experience has led me to believe at this point that ALL politicians are crooks. So I don't have a "side" to take anymore.
But for those that do...posting constantly about politics and ridiculing other people's beliefs could very well be costing you money.
And I don't know about you...but I want every damn penny I can get.
Why anger anybody who might potentially make a lot of money with you just to air your political opinions...it's not like any Republicans are going to read what you write and suddenly become a Democrat.
So this whole thread is kinda pointless...and might be harmful to your biz.
That's all I'm trying to say.
You've got some unique content that does sell to an underserviced segment of a niche and you should be using GFY to get that word out.
And the fact is...most people do business with people they "like". It's the only reason I signed up for you program. We met, I liked you, I decided to try out your program. If I had not liked you, I wouldn't have signed up.

People use to be proud to be American, when I was told when I went over to Europe I shouldn't tell anyone I was from America, I wore a t shirt that left no doubt. Pisses me off what our government does, all of the government, not just the left or the right, but all those assholes!
If Cain can get in there and spend more time on the US and less on foreign affairs, he's 4 steps ahead of anyone else in the government

richard, let me give you a piece of advice as both an employer and successful business owner for the last 25 years of my life.
I, like many other business owners here, don't really pay that much attention to the hundreds of posters on this board. However, you're one of the few who stand out. Sadly, its not for anything good. As far as I can tell, you're a job hopper jumping from low level job to low level job as each employer discovers your actual worth in this business. You take shots at potential future employers and equals to your current employer. This may make you a hero of the trolls here but it does nothing good for your future here.
None of us think your shtick is interesting or intelligent. In fact, with every post you make, you decrease the likelihood that you'll continue to work in this business as you expose your deficient mind for all to see.
If you look at the actions of those employees who've been employed long term, you'll note that NONE of them act the way you do.
I know you think you're incredibly intelligent but that is just not born out by your station in life. You're one or two hops from your last stop here and if you don't carefully reconsider your actions and the way they're perceived, you'll end up as a 30something, out of work, porn slinger looking for work in a very tight mainstream job market.
The only question will be whether or not you make a "I'm taking an opportunity in mainstream" post or simply disappear one day.
but I'm sure you're way too smart to take advice from someone with my experience.

That's odd because they get more handouts than people living in the major metropolitan areas. The red states generally receive more subsidies from the federal government than they pay in taxes, and the majority of those subsidies are coming from wealthy blue states.
One reason is that the red states on average have lower population, so their Senators give them higher per capita representation in Washington than the blue states get, which translates into more federal handouts. Another reason is those red states in middle America, which are all represented by "conservative" republicans, get heavy farm subsidies. About 10 billion a year is given out in farm subsidies to, mostly, those heavily red states like Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Texas. Michelle Bachman's family farm received $250,000 over the past ten years in subsidies.

Yet another reason is the federal government?s permanent policy of ?universal service? in postal delivery, phone service and other utilities (electricity, perhaps now broadband or fios). Universal service means subsidizing those who choose to live in remote places like Alaska, where the cost of supplying these services is much higher than in the coastal cities.Comment

Without even bringing up the farm subsidies...I can tell you that "yeah" there are plenty of "country" people living off the govt.
The trailer parks in South Carolina (I lived in that state from 1992 to 2008) are FULL of people getting govt. checks and sitting on their lazy ass with a "disability". And since my band played all through that state...I can tell you that those same "disabled" people were just fine to drink and dance and smoke pot every weekend at the clubs I was playing at.
I think that there is an equal amount of "trash" in the city and rural areas.-Robbie

Obama took a bad situation and made it worse, patriotism was at an all time high at the beginning of Bushs presidency because of 9/11 , when he went to Iraq, he killed off a lot of that.
